Dublin International Foundation College

DIFC is Ireland’s largest foundation college & was set up in 1999 to run university foundation courses. We are the exclusive delivery centre for the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) & Graduate Diploma (GDP) programs since 2004 in Ireland & since then we have placed over 1,500 students onto undergraduate degree programs & master’s programs in Irish & UK universities. The NCUK programs offer progression onto over 4,000 degree programmes including Ireland on successful completion of the IFY & we guarantee progression to all of our students to one of our partner universities excluding medicine + we have a 95% placement rate overall including medicine.

We have 28 partner universities & colleges with 11 in Ireland / 17 in the UK – with 5 of our UK partner universities ranked in the top 100 in the World according to the QS rankings. In addition to this we have placed 160 students onto medical degree & associated medical programs in the last 6 years with our 6 medical partner universities who are situated in 7 different countries around the world mostly in Ireland / the UK & Europe.

We are located on a large campus near Dublin city centre & facilities on-campus include: gym, computer labs, library, canteen & campus accommodation. We have highly qualified teachers & a dedicated university placement officer. We organise for our students visits to universities throughout the year & have an annual university “Open Day” which is attended both by our Irish & UK partners to give students an opportunity to speak to them directly. We can also provide airport pick-up and homestay for students on request.
