Academic education at Green River provides students with the first two years of their four-year degree at a low cost. Students take general courses in English, math, humanities, science, social science, creative arts, physical education for their bachelor’s degree. The most popular majors at GRC are Business, Engineering, Computer Science, and Aviation. There are 75 academic programs offered at GRC. Green River prepares students to transfer to a university as a third-year student.

Location: Green River College is located in the suburban community of Auburn, Washington, which is about 30 minutes from Seattle. Students enjoy studying on the tree-filled campus, learning in new buildings and having good options for housing. Students may live in on-campus housing in the Campus Corner Apartments, or with a local American host family in their house (homestay option), or in an off campus apartment the student finds on their own. Most students live in a homestay or in the Campus Corner Apartments.
