Taunton School International ก่อตั้งในปี 1847 เป็นโรงเรียนสหศึกษาแบบประจำและไป-กลับ เป็นโรงเรียนที่มีการเรียนการสอนแบบอังกฤษขนานแท้ ปัจจุบันมีนักเรียนประมาณ 1,000 คน โดยมีนักเรียนต่างชาติประมาณ 250 คน ที่โรงเรียน Taunton School นั้นแบ่งออกเป็น 2 โรงเรียนหลักคือ Taunton School และ Taunton School International เปิดรับนักเรียนต่างชาติที่ยังมีภาษาอังกฤษยังไม่ถึงระดับที่สามารถจะเข้าเรียนใน Main School ได้ แต่ก็มีความสามารถทางวิชาการดีในระดับหนึ่ง โดยเมื่อเรียนจบหลักสูตร นักเรียนจาก Taunton School International จะสามารถย้ายเข้าไปเรียนที่ Taunton School ได้ไม่ยาก
